The MC 700 Series magnetic contacts are designed for surface mounting in doors and window frames, where a thin contact and magnet sets are required.

The small size makes it perfect for application areas as cash desk drawers where it can be used for indication of opening and closing of the drawers.

The contact and magnet can either be mounted parallel to each other or opposite to each other. The contact and magnet are waterproof to meet IP67 for application indoors or out doors.

The high quality reed is gold-plated and coated with Ruthenium, which permits safe and reliable switching at low loop currents and gives an extremely long life expectancy (>100 million switching cycles). They are designed for modern control units with a low loop current down to 1 microampere. The magnet is made of Neodymium, which allows safe operation and very good long-term stability of the magnetic field.
